Gala | More Than Black Ties and Evening Gowns

Every year Rocky Mountain Active 2030 hosts a Gala to raise money and awareness to support RMA’s mission. It is one of our premier events that members and the community always look forward to. Yes, it is a formal event and we do enjoy the chance to wear our fancy dresses, but Gala is so much more than that.

As our largest fundraiser, Gala helps us achieve our financial goals. Along with raising grant money it's an excellent opportunity for RMA to educate and share the stories of some of the organizations that we have been so fortunate to contribute to. Gala guests get to pick from a large selection of libations and delicious food while listening to the musical blends from a DJ and a band. We also have group photos, photo booths, and a silent auction.

Mark your calendar! This year’s Gala is on September 23rd at the beautifully remodeled McNichols Civic Center Building.

The Gala Committee

Chaired by Kari Roberts, the Gala committee works year-round to pull off the spectacular event. From finding food and beverage sponsors, to setting up decorations and helping with the silent auctions, these women certainly have their hands full. In the end it is all worth it.

Kari describes Gala and the Gala Committee as, “being able to assemble a large group of our peers for networking opportunities, great laughs and having open discussions about why we, the members of RMA, have such a passion for our common goal to help the youth in our community. The gala committee is an all hands on deck team. Without this mentality it would be very difficult for us to pull off such a successful event.”
